The first step in
restoring your deck is to pressure clean it, using a commercial pressure
washer, to remove dirt, grime and deteriorated sealer.
The horizontal
surfaces of your deck should be sanded if they are rough or splintered or
if the old sealer needs to be removed to leave a clearer
surface.
Finally, a quality
sealer/stain is applied to give your wood the protection it needs.
